錫彩による重箱です。和紙貼りのさらさらとした細やかな凹凸を感じるマットな質感と風合いが心地よい仕上がりです。伝統的な技法を用いながらも、シックでモダンな佇まいの作品に仕上げられる八代さんらしい重箱です。
おせち料理はもちろん、菓子器としてもお使いいただけるようなサイズです。
分業が主流となっている漆の世界において、木地作りから塗り、仕上げに至る全行程を自ら手がける八代さんの作品には、一貫した美意識が凝縮されています。

【 素材 】漆、錫、吉野杉
【 備考 】人の手の温度程度のお湯でさっと洗い、すぐに乾いた布で水分を拭き取ってください。または中性洗剤とスポンジ(研磨剤入りでないもの)で洗い、乾いた布で水分を拭き取って下さい。

Junko Yahiro – Square Urushi Jubako
This jubako tiered box features a tin-finished surface. The matte texture, with fine, delicate irregularities created by the application of washi paper, offers a smooth and pleasant tactile quality. While rooted in traditional techniques, the piece embodies a chic and modern presence that is characteristic of Junko Yashiro’s work. Its size also makes it well suited for use as a confectionery container.
In the world of lacquerware, where production is typically divided among specialists, Junko Yashiro personally carries out every stage of the process—from shaping the wooden base to lacquering and final finishing—resulting in a work imbued with a cohesive aesthetic sensibility.

Material: Japanese lacquer（urushi）, tin, Yoshino cedar
Notes: Please rinse quickly with lukewarm water (about body temperature), then wipe off any moisture immediately with a dry cloth.
Alternatively, wash with a mild (neutral) detergent and a soft sponge (non-abrasive), and wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth.
