八代淳子さんによる尺ほどの大きさのある丸盆です。分業が主流となっている漆の世界において、木地作りから塗り、仕上げに至る全行程を自ら手がける八代さんの作品には、一貫した美意識が凝縮されています。ヘリンボーン柄に彫目の入った、木肌を感じさせる木地にマットな漆の質感が、モダンでシックな雰囲気です。

【 素材 】漆、栗
【 備考 】人の手の温度程度のお湯でさっと洗い、すぐに乾いた布で水分を拭き取ってください。または中性洗剤とスポンジ(研磨剤入りでないもの)で洗い、乾いた布で水分を拭き取って下さい。

Junko Yahiro – Herringbone Round Tray
This round tray, measuring approximately 30 cm in diameter, is the work of Junko Yashiro. In the world of lacquerware, where production is typically divided among specialists, Yashiro personally carries out every stage of the process—from shaping the wooden base to lacquering and final finishing—resulting in a piece that embodies a cohesive aesthetic. The wooden surface, carved with a herringbone pattern that highlights the natural texture of the wood, is finished with a matte lacquer, creating a modern and sophisticated impression.

Size: Approx. φ29.2cm H3.3cm
Material: Japanese lacquer（urushi）, Japanese chestnut wood
Notes: Please rinse quickly with lukewarm water (about body temperature), then wipe off any moisture immediately with a dry cloth.
Alternatively, wash with a mild (neutral) detergent and a soft sponge (non-abrasive), and wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth.
